Swimming Pool

You may or may not be aware of our fantastic hidden secret (our own pool)! Did you know that by becoming a member you can use it yourself outside school hours?

From May to September (including the summer holidays) you can have fun with friends and family in the school swimming pool and help your children become more confident swimmers.
Becoming a member is easy. All you need to do is attend the Poolside Helpers Course in May. Membership costs £70 for the first year, reducing to £30 for the 2nd year. You will also need to pay a small deposit for your own key to the pool area. Places are always limited!

The Poolside Helper’s Course

This course will be arranged when we can open our pool again
The course lasts from approximately 9.00am to 3.00pm and will involve:

First aid
Lifesaving
Pool work (our pool is under a meter deep so you do not have to be a strong swimmer!)
Lifesaving coursework
There are only 16 spaces available. If you are interested in becoming a member and would like further information please email wychwoodpta@hotmail.com It will be fun, informative and will allow you to use the pool as a family. We hope you will also be able to support the school as a lifesaver.

Pool Water Testers

We are always looking for pool testers to help keep our swimming pool running. This takes 15 minutes of your time either first thing in the morning (can be done on your way to work) or in the evening after 7.30pm and is on a rota basis (maybe once a week). If you can help with this please let the school office know on:
