Oxfordshire County Final Cross Country 23.03.23

We are all so proud to announce that Wychwood U11 Girls are the Oxfordshire Cross Country CHAMPIONS 2023!

Pippa, Charlotte, Heidi, Victoria and Jasmine all ran amazingly well on the day and showed an incredible amount of resilience to continue at a brilliant pace all the way around the 2km course, even through huge mud patches and a powerful headwind on the finishing straight.

What an amazing opportunity for this group of children to progress to this final stage of competition. To even represent this school at a county final is one thing but to do it in such spectacular fashion is incredible!

A special shoutout must be made to Pippa, who claimed 3rd place - a truly fantastic achievement which we are all very proud of her for making.
