The Wychwood School PTA is currently run by a small group of very enthusiastic people, but is open to all parents who have children at the school. We are always looking for new committee members who can bring along their thoughts and ideas. Our aim is to organise fund raising events for the children, parents, family, friends and staff. We make money for the school and have a great deal of fun!
If you would like to be part of this friendly and social committee please come along to any of our meetings. You will be very welcome. As a parent of a child/ren at Wychwood CE Primary School you are automatically a member of our Parent Teachers Association. We hope that you will show some interest in how, as parents, we can help the school to give your child/ren opportunities that may not be possible without the extra money we can raise.
Money raised is used by the school to purchase items such as books, computers, sand for FSU sandpit, reading schemes, and at the moment funds towards our new Learning Zone.
But there is still a lot the school would like to do that the schools budget will not stretch to – and this is where PTA funds come in. But we cannot raise these funds without your help. Please look at the events coming up and if you feel able to spare some time to help please contact one of the members listed.
‘Anybody can fundraise but if Everybody leaves it to Somebody else and Nobody does it Everybody’s children will suffer’.
We have updated the PTA Constitution recently.
