Music Lessons

Music is an important part of our school.  Children sing everyday whether in assembly or in the class.  In addition to singing, children in Year 3 have violin or cello lessons as part of their music curriculum.  We also offer private tuition for the piano and brass.  In addition to these opportunities we offer music lessons organised through the County Music Service. At the moment we offer lessons in violin, viola, cello, guitar,.

To start a new group we need at least 4 children to express an interest and then we co-ordinate with the Music Service to allocate a teacher.

If you would like to express an interest in learning an instrument ready for the next available group, please send a letter/email to parents@wychwood-pri.oxon.sch.uk for the attention of Mrs Napper our music coordinator, who will give you some idea when a new group may start.
