We have all had an exciting day exploring Humility in the Bible. Some of us explored what we meant by 'Don't judge a book by its cover'. We discussed why we need to look at a person from the inside - not just judging them by what they looked like.
We also investigated the life of St. Francis, and created our own stained glass windows depicting his life and values.
Our mindfulness walk let us explore our senses and enjoy God's creation. We had the opportunity to taste mint and lemon leaves that had a strong flavour. We got to walk in the field bare footed so we could feel the grass on our feet. We came up with questions that we pondered during our stroll. Finally we dropped pebbles in water to represent letting go of our worries.
Lillian, Year 4.
