World Book Day

We celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as an adjective. We had some amazing costumes for words such as stormy, theatrical, aquatic, shiny, iridescent, speedy, sporty and many more! We had our traditional parade on the playground followed by our first whole school assembly in two years. Each teacher selected a favourite book to read and the children got to choose which story they wanted to hear. In our classrooms, we did lots of different lovely activities such as bookmark making, book reviews and book hunts! We ended the day with a Book Swap which was organised by the Eco Council.
