Outdoor Classroom Day

On Thursday 18th May the children in Foundation Stage had a fun filled day outside! We were extremely lucky to have such lovely weather to make our day even more enjoyable.

In the morning the children engaged in a carousel of four different activities. They spent time …

- Making a bug hotel in the Forest School area.
- Creating boats and rafts and testing them on our school pond.
- Gardening and working together to make some fantastic scarecrows.
- Playing team games on the school field.

During the afternoon the children chose their activities and spent time making dens, planting beans and seeds, playing on the tyres, playing parachute games and making a bug hotel in our Foundation Stage garden. We were very impressed with the co-operation and team work shown by the children and are glad that everybody enjoyed themselves!
